  • Ricky Lundell's technique and teaching ability set him apart from all the other trainers. Take full advantage; I can't wait until I train with him again.

  • UofG is the reason why I am Utah State's Welterweight MMA champ. Well, Lets be fair... It had a lot to do with me too, being champ, but outside of me? This is the reason I Got dat Gem. at first you are going to be intimidated... but don't let that phase you. Everyone there wants to see you succeed... I was there for 3 months for my title fight training camp and EVERYONE ended up attending to watch me take that belt. If you commit to them, They will commit to you. C'mon? They train Naga Champs... MMA Champs... Even kids that get full rides through college for wrestling! If you're in the area... Hell, even if its a drive. Go to UofG if you wanna learn to wrestle. Go anywhere else if you don't want to be good at it... that is really what it comes down to.

  • I am a pro MMA fighter, my lack in ground work was not nearly where I thought it was. I had an opportunity to work with coach Marc Brewer for the first time a year ago and continue to train under him to this day. My ground has improved immensely and still improving, the drive, enthusiasm, motivation and technical aspect he offers is amazing. I live an hour away and I am willing to make this drive to train at U of G for this reason, nobody I know teaches in this manner. The environment is great and working with other students at this gym is a place that makes you feel like family, no egos here. U of G is a place for everyone of all ages, sizes, male and female from beginning to high level. Expect hard work because that is what it takes to become that much better.

  • I recently took a week long visit to the utah valley midway through a fight-camp for my first professional MMA bout. I was concerned about the quality of gyms I that would be able to find for the week. My first day in Utah, I found this gym, a real diamond in the rough. Spent the entire week at The U of G.
